Edward
Edward Pringle was appointed at a Consultant Ophthalmologist at King's College Hospital in 2014. He practises, teaches, trains and lectures in cataract surgery and all aspects of retinal disease including diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane and uveitis.
After medical school in Cambridge and clinical school in Oxford, higher surgical training was undertaken in London. During this time there was further subspecialisation in inflammatory eye disease and retinal diseases both surgical and medical.
Charlotte
Charlotte is originally from Denmark however, she has now spent most of her adult life in Great Britain. Charlotte has a background in hospitality from around Europe prior to her more recent experience in London in both the corporate world and as an entrepreneur. Charlotte joined the practice as practice manager in 2017 and she looks after our patients whether it concerns booking an appointment, chasing a prescription or liaising with an insurance company. She furthermore looks after our administration. Charlotte speaks English, Danish and French.
The London Clinic Team
The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals with a number of premises across Harley Street and Devonshire Place in London. Over 1,000 staff work in specialist teams at The London Clinic across all clinical and non-clinical areas combined with over 300 consultant surgeons and physicians. Edward Pringle is based in the London Clinic Eye Centre at 119 Harley Street which is a dedicated building that provides consulting, tests and treatments for a range of eye conditions.

At Chelsfield Park Hospital we have access to modern equipment and private facilities for patients in Kent, Bromley and Sevenoaks. These facilities, combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services, enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery. Our outpatient department has access for some specialties to 'same day' diagnostics, so all undertaken at one visit.
